Downloadings files

To open the PDF documents, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download this programme for free from the following website:

http://www.adobe.com/uk/en/products/reader/

Not all documents offered for download are barrier free. Many of these documents are old, and the original document no longer exists. These documents will not be revised at a later date.

To the extent possible and practicable, we have set ourselves the goal of offering barrier-free PDF files or posting the contents in HTML format in future.

You can tell that a document is already barrier free if the download comes with the information ‘file is barrier-free/few barriers’.

If you need content from older documents in a form accessible to you, please contact us using the contact form. To the extent possible, we will try to make the content available to you in another way.

Navigations options

The pages are structured uniformly, in that navigation and contents are arranged in separate areas.

Right at the top of the pages, there are hidden jump labels that allow you to go directly to the contents, the main menu or the search field.

The Table of Contents provides an overview of the topics and subtopics on offer.

Font size

You can change the font size of our website via your browser. In Internet Explorer, go to the 'View' menu, then menu item 'Font size'. In Firefox, you change the font size by going to the 'View' menu, then to menu item 'Font size', then selecting 'Increase' or 'Decrease'.

Audio/video files

To play the embedded videos on this page, you will need version 8 or later of the Flash plug-in for your browser. This programme can be downloaded for free via the following link:

Search

We offer a basic search function on our website.

Simple search is located on the right side of the screen, above the navigation area. Just enter one or several terms in the field ‘Search item’. The search results will be displayed in a new window.

You restrict the search by entering several search terms and placing a (+) between them (AND operation).

The wildcards (*) for any sequence of letters and (?) for a single letter are both admissible.

The tilde symbol (~) at the end of a single word supports fuzzy searches.

Print functions

The content of the website is optimised for printing.

With JavaScript enabled, there is a 'Print page' button at the bottom of the page. When you click the button, the print dialogue box will appear in a new window.

With JavaScript disabled, you can access this dialogue box from the 'File' menu, then menu item 'Print' (or the <Ctrl> + <P> shortcut).

Miscellaneous

We have tried to make this website conform to the provisions of the Accessible Information Technology Regulation (BITV) as much as possible. Should you still encounter barriers on our webpages, please send us a description of where you noticed the error using the contact contact form.
